Rachel Chinapen joins the staff of the New Haven Register today as a staff reporter.
Rachel Chinapen
She is a graduate of Stony Brook University in New York, where she majored in journalism and sociology.
She previously served as an intern at Newsday.Com and Three Village Patch.
At the Register, she will work as a morning breaking news reporter and general assignment reporter focused on enterprise.
